House, divided and extended. C15 hall house with C18 alterations and C19 extensions to right. Timber framed with brick cladding to ground floor left, galleted rubblestone to centre, rubblestone with brick quoins and dressings to ground floor right. Exposed framing with rendered infill to first floor left, tile hung to centre and right; plain tiled roofs with gablets over in hip roofed cross wings, ridge stack to left end, left of centre and stack to right side. Two storeys, two framed bays to centre hall, two framed bay cross wing to north (left and south (right). One square projecting wood mullioned and transomed diamond pane leaded casement window to first floor left, one three-light leaded casement to centre; two small leaded casements on first floor left hand side of southern cross wing, one three-light casement in west front. Angle bay leaded casement to ground floor left under tiled pent roof, ogee arched casement to centre, former shop window to ground floor of southern cross wing. Planked door to left end under pent roofed porch, C20 board door in flat roof porch projection to right of centre; doubled C19 panelled doors to right in single storey extension.
Interior: framing visible, octagonal Crown post and tie beam in northern cross wing, further Crown post to centre.
