Barn and cart lodge with loft over, and attached byre. Late C18- early C19 and early C19, altered. Coursed squared herringbone- tooled stone; pantile roofs with stone coping and ridges. Barn, late C18-early C19;of 5 bays,with loft over, the left-hand section extended to rear to provide cart lodge with loft over. Byre added on right, of 4 bays. Barn and cart lodge openings have tripartite lintels. Barn: 2 later board doors in openings made lower by the insertion of secondary stone lintels; 2 small openings to loft-on left with boarded shutters. Byre: plinth; wide doorway; arched vent on left. Chamfered eaves band. Moulded kneelers. Rear: cart lodge has 2 elliptical arches and two 6-pane loft windows; on left stone steps rise above kennel up to board door in left return. Byre has 2 doorways. Interior: cart lodge has central square pier on chamfered base supporting large-scantling beams.
