Stables now domestic use. Probably C17 origins, reconstructed mid/late C19.
Squared coursed limestone with ashlar dressings and Collyweston slate roof.
Rectangular range of stables with carriage arch to far right. Single storey with
attic. Main front, to south, of 3 bays: those to centre and left each have pairs
of C19 three-light stone mullion windows. Carriage arch, to right, has moulded
stone surround. 3 large gabled eaves dormers with tall C19 four-light stone
mullion windows with king mullions, transoms and hood moulds. Moulded string
course below cills of attic window. Ashlar gable parapets, kneelers and finials.
To left gable a 4-light stone mullion window with king mullion and hood moulds.
Rear elevation has various C19 openings. Interior not inspected. Included for
group value.
