GV II

Hotel. C18. Main building with later extensions. Red brick with purple
headers. Band courses at first and second floor levels. Wood eaves cornice
with brackets. Hipped tiled roof with central sunken flat roof. Three storeys.
Front elevation windows are casements with leaded lights including wood transoms
and mullions. Ground floor - five windows. First floor - four windows with
central recess for wrought iron bracket and hanging sign (restored). Second
floor - three windows with recessed panel each end. To the east, a two storey
extension with a pedimented doorcase and Tuscan pilasters. First floor a pro-
jecting bay window with leaded light casement windows. Interior and outbuild-
ings much altered.
