Inn. C16 with C17 additions, C19 extensions and C20 restoration. Timber framed on
brick and rubblestone plinth, rendered infill to street front, whitewashed brick infill
and tile hanging to left hand (west) return front. Plain tiled roofs with ridge stack to
rear left, front stack to left of centre and rear ridge stack to right. T shaped plan
with cross wing to left, 2 storeys and attic in gable front to left; 3 framed bays
to left on street front, 1 bay extension to right 3 framed bays to west, jettied on
first floor with moulded dragon-post to left corner. Irregular fenestration of leaded
casement windows to left, sash windows, 3 across first floor to right. Planked and
part glazed door to left on left hand return front up flight of 8 steps; similar
door to left end. C19 square porch to left of centre on street front with planked
doors to right side.

Interior: extensive framing visible, especially on ground floor, although much restored.
2 bay chamber to south with open truss and chamfered Crown-post, gallery to north east
side.
