House, much extended, now Public House. C16 core with C18 extensions and C20
alterations. Timber framed clad in whitewashed render, whitewashed brick on plinth
to front with applied timbering above, dentilled cornice to parallel range, plain
tiled roofs, with end stacks to left and rear, that to rear C17. East and west wings
built first with the rear range added to form courtyard and the street front completing
the square plan. 2 storeys, 6 sash windows across first floor, outer casements under
weatherboard gables. Leaded wood mullioned and transomed casement windows to ground
floor. Central ribbed door and further ribbed door to left in tiled rectangular porch
recess. Flat roof addition to right end.

Interior: exposed timber to rear, short Crown-Post to east (right) wing. Ground floor
timber heavily disguised and restored.
