GV II

Two barns and attached stables. C17 barns and C19 stables. Timber framed barn
to north clad in galleted sandstone with half-hipped plain tiled roof. Timber
framed east barn on brick plinth with brick infill on ground floor and galleted
sandstone infill above under plain tiled roof. Timber and brick stables under
plain tiled hipped roof. Two barns at right angles and stable range forming
courtyard. North barn - stable style doors to right and left ends. Double
weatherboarded doors to right of centre. Two narrow "breathers" to right of
doors, 4 to left. Four framed bays inside with windbracing to centre bay.
Queen-strut clasped purlin roof. East barn - stable doors alternating with
fixed casement fenestration. Three fixed casements on the first floor to rear.
Stables to end not of special interest.
