C19 earlier-mid. 3 storeys and cellars. 2 windows each. Slated roofs with
bracketed eaves cornice. Grit stone ashlar. Recessed sash windows, most with
glazing bars and margin lights ; 1st floor with splayed bay windows with pilasters
carrying entablature with projecting cornice and carved hood board. Projecting
ground floor shopfronts with pilasters carrying entablature-fascia. Shop windows
and doorways altered. House doorways flanked by pilasters, with patterned rectangular
fanlights and panelled doors approached by steps.

Nos 1 to 6 (consec) form a group with the return of No 34 Montpellier Parade.
