11/91 Stone Cottage

GV II

Cottage. Early C18. Coursed limestone rubble, plain tile roof, with ornamental
ridge tiles, brick end stacks on stone bases. 2-unit central staircase plan. 2
storeys and attic; 3-window range. Main front to garden has central 2-light
casement windows with timber lintel, similar 3-light casement to left, French
window to right, central 2-light casement to first floor flanked by similar
3-light windows, all with timber lintels. Quoins, stone coped gables and three
roof dormers. Interior has ogee stop-chamfered spine beams, open fireplace with
bread oven, winder stair, and collar-truss roof.
