ROLLESTON C.P. CHAPEL LANE SK 22 NW (east side) 11/61 - Linden Lea and Wesley Cottage GV II

House, now divided into 2 units. Late C18, with mid-Cl9 alterations and additions. Red brick; tiled roof; end stacks. L-shaped plan with later wing to rear. 2-storey front of 2 windows, raised band at first floor level and mid-C19 dentilled eaves; 3-light small-pane casements with deep gauged brick heads to ground floor; paired entrances, both stepped; the door to left has similar gauged head to the windows; boarded doors; lower additions to both sides of one bay each with 2-light casements. The house forms part of a group including Barn Farm (q.v.) and Ivy Cottage (q.v.).
