Incorrectly shown as Thorpe Hill East Farm on OS map. Farmhouse. Early
C19. Mottled plum brick with stone slate roof. Central-entry plan. 2-
storey-and-attic, 3-window front. C20 panelled front door beneath divided
overlight. Ground and first floor windows are 16-pane sashes. In attic,
centre window blocked, between squat 12-pane sashes. All windows have
painted stone sills and all openings have flat arches of gauged bricks.
Raised first floor and attic bands: brick dentilled eaves band.
Pyramidal roof with truncated apex stack; left and right stacks rise
through roof pitch. Rear: round-headed, radial-glazed staircase window
with painted stone sill and archivolt. Returns: several window openings
blocked. In right return openings under cambered arches. Porch extension
on left return not of special interest.
