House and cottage. Mid C18 house, with later cottage to left. Rubble sand-
stone, pantile roof. 2 storeys with rear outshut built around central turret,
1:3 first-floor windows. Central 4-panel door with open timber canopy.
Ground-floor windows from left: 16-pane sash below deep lintel; side-sliding
sash; two 16-pane sashes with flat arches of dressed stone voussoirs. First-
floor windows: 16-pane sash, 3 side-sliding sashes. Stone coping with ball
finial on ridge to left. Brick ridge stacks between 1st and 2nd bays and to
right end. Hillcrest, to the left, has a side entrance with added porch.
