8/119 Flexford House

House. Circa 1840. Whitewashed roughcast render, low pitched slate roofs. Two
storeys on plinth with plat band over ground floor, deep eaves. Rendered stacks with
dentil tops to left and right. Symmetrical three bay front, outer bays gabled and
projecting slightly with panelled piers to ends topped by depressed arches and dentilled
imposts. Three 12-pane glazing bar sash windows with original "Venetian" shutters
across first floor. Hipped roof angle bay ground floor window to either end. Central
gabled porch with double doors to inside, outer half-glazed porch doors under fanlight.
Left hand return front: angle bay window to ground floor right, square 2 storey
projection to left. Double casement doors and 2 glazing bar sash windows on first
floor. Right hand return front: angle bay to left. Four glazing bar sashes across
first floor, 3 on ground floor.

Interior: one fireplace surround surviving in ground floor room front right.
