House, now part shop. C17 with C19 and C20 extensions to right. Timber framed,
exposed to rear with brick infilling, clad in painted brick to front under tile
hung first floor and with plain tiled roofs. Original house of 3 bays, with
double gables to left and later C19 double gabled range to right used as shop.
Two storeys with stacks to left of centre, left end and right. One C20 casement
window in each floor of each gable to left; one window on first floor of each
gable to right. Plate glass shop windows below to right under pentice across
the front on braced posts. Two new, C20, casements to recessed central range;
one first floor and one through eaves casement above.
Interior:- Queen-post roof. Substantial quantities of frame exposed. Deep brick
fireplace. Undergoing restoration at time of resurvey.
