House. Late C17 - early C18, altered late C18, renovated c1965.
Coursed, squared gritstone rubble, C20 cement-tile roof. 2-room plan with
continuous outshut. 2 storeys and attic, 2 windows to first floor. Large
quoins, stone plinth wall with deep ledge to right. C20 part-glazed door to
left of centre in bonded ashlar surround. To left, renewed square-faced
surround to 3-light wood casement. To right, tall 3-light double-chamfered
mullion window with a similar smaller window above on first floor. 2-light
square-faced mullion window to first floor left, recessed mullion. Moulded
kneelers, gable copings. Low roof-dormer to right. Corniced ashlar stacks
to left end and to ridge, left of centre. Right return : two 2-light and
2 single-light windows, all double chamfered; apex oculus.
