Early-mid C18. Three storeys and sunk basement, six windows, the outer ones blank on upper floors. Wide space in centre, suggesting that building was originally a pair. Double-span slated roof. Multicoloured stock brick with stone coped parapet. Gauged, flat brick arches to sash windows with glazing bars in flush moulded frames with stone cills. Entrance on East return. Five steps, with cast iron rail, to six panel door in later wood porch. Long back section to East, probably early C19, with open arcaded basement. Rear elevation of Western part shows cambered window arches and gentle mansard roof.
