Farmhouse. C17 and C18. Timber framing with brick infill; colourwashed limestone
rubble; plain-tile roof with brick stacks. 2-unit lobby-entry plan extended to 3
then 4 units. One storey plus attic. 3-window timber-framed section has the
doorway to right of centre in a large C20 timber-framed porch; flanking bays
with 3-light casements are C17, but bay to extreme left is partly rebuilt or
extended and has lighter framing. Earlier panels have lozenge patterning in
flared headers. Roof has 3 gabled 3-light dormers, and has old clustered stacks
in line with the entrance plus a gable stack to left. Rubble bay to right has a
similar dormer and a gable stack, and has a slightly lower roof. Interior not
inspected.
