Parsonage Farmhouse

2 barns. C17, early/mid C18 and late C18/early C19. Weatherboarded timber
framing on limestone rubble and brick plinth; corrugated-asbestos roofs.
L-shaped plan. North range has, to right, 2 bays of C17 barn plus, to left, 3
late C18/early C19 bays; central bay of range has opposed full-height doors.
Projecting from the right is a 5-bay early/mid C18 barn with central opposed
full-height doors, plus some small windows and a stable door adjacent to a lower
bay against the gable wall. Right gable of C17 range is half-hipped. Interior:
C17 range has 3 double queen-strut trusses and some heavy wall studs; early C18
range has curved inner principals; late C18 range has straight inner principals
and ogee-carved jowls to the posts.
