Mid C19. 2 linked pairs in multicoloured stock brick with stuccoed fronts.
Each house 2 and a half storeys and basement, 2 windows in centre block
under fairly low-pitched slate roof with eaves soffit; 2 storeys, 1 window
in slightly set back outer entrance link with parapet. Pilasters on axis
and at angles of main block support entablature at 2nd floor cills which
continues across below parapet of links. Sash windows with margin lights;
plain reveals on 2nd floor; moulded architraves and bracketed cills on
lst floor; panelled pilasters and frieze, and console bracketed cornices
on ground floor. Ground floor windows also have projecting bracketed cills
with ornamental cast iron guards. Double door of 4 panels, with plain
fanlight, well set back behind round arch .with moulded architrave and
impost string.

Nos 160 to l86 (even) form a group.
