House. Formerly pair of estate cottages, early C19. In the
Gothick style. 2 storeys; 1 window each; a pair of gables facing
Cotton End Road. Gault brick with red brick dressings. Pair of
gabled roofs, slated, with open eaves and fretted undulating
bargeboards with drop finials; central group of 4 octagonal
chimneys of red brick on a square base. Windows of 2 and 3
lights, hood-moulded, the hood-moulds continuing as a string
course at 1st floor level; splayed reveals and wrought iron
small-pane casements. Framed entrance door with arched head and
applied battens.
