Stables. Late C17/early C18. Coursed limestone and marlstone rubble with wooden
lintels; corrugated-asbestos roofs 3-bay range plus 2-bay lower range. 2
storeys. Main range has a cart entry to left, now a stable door, and at first
floor has triangular ventilation openings and 2 inserted windows. Lower range to
left has a blocked segmental-arched doorway and a small leaded window. Right end
wall has a further cart entry, a loft door and more vents. Rear wall is of
banded limestone and marlstone. Roofs have gable parapets with moulded
projecting kneelers. Interior: principal roof timbers survive. Included for
group value.
