TL 86 NW FORNHAM ST. GENEVIEVE CULFORD ROAD

Farmhouse. Early C19. A 2-storey main range flanked by 2 matching one-and-a-
half storey cross-wings. Brick, faced with black knapped flint, squared on
the front, random on the sides; white brick band, window surrounds, rusticated
quoins and dentil cornices; slate roof. The main range has 2 small-paned
tripartite sash windows to the ground storey, set into shallow recesses with
white brick arches and single small-paned sashes to the upper storey with flat
arches. 6-panelled central door with an arched white brick surround, and an
outer arch, matching those around the window recesses, but not recessed. The
2 cross-wings have a small-paned sash window to each storey, and a triangular
pediment to the gables. Adjoining the south-east corner of the house is a
short curved stretch of high wall.
