GV II

House. Late C17/early C18, extended late C18. Brick, and timber framing with
brick infill; old plain-tile roof with brick stacks. 2-unit plan, extended to 4
units. 2 storeys and 2 storeys plus attic. Central bays of 4-window front are
timber framed at first floor with a slight jetty, probably underbuilt in C18.
Ground floor has a pair of doorways, one now blocked, a sash and C20 casement;
first floor has two 3-light leaded casements. Higher C18 bay, to extreme right,
has entrance and sash, with a casement, at first floor, and a dormer. Bay to
extreme left has a C20 casement plus, at first floor, a horizontal-sliding sash.
Roof has stacks at ends of lower range. Interior not inspected. Probably made
into 3 or 4 cottages in C18.
