House. C17. 2 storeys and attics; basic 3-cell plan. Timber-framed and
rendered, pargetted with raised panels of old roughcast. C20 plaintiled roof.
An internal chimney-stack, with a high saw-tooth shaft on a square base, has
been enlarged. 2 tripartite small-paned sash windows to the ground storey
with 4-panelled external shutters, and a central canted bay with similar sash
windows; on the upper storey, 3-light windows with old square-leaded casements
and pintle hinges. One flat-headed dormer. Off-centre 6-panelled door with
raised fielded panels and moulded architrave: the flat pediment above, with
supporting brackets, has been extended to form the roof of an open porch, with
lattice-work sides. Overhanging tie-beam, with ovolo-mounding, on the north
gable. Two one-and-a-half storey wings project at the rear.
