Terraced houses. 1827. Developed by Thomas Wontner. Yellow
brick set in Flemish bond, roofs of artificial slate. Four
storeys, two windows each. Nos 22-25 set back by one brick's
thickness. All openings have gauged brick heads. Step up to
round-arched entrance with wooden fluted quarter-columns,
cornice, fanlight with decorative glazing and panelled door.
Ground-floor windows round-arched, the sashes having radiating
glazing bars. Upper windows have 6/6 sashes of original
design. Brick string course below parapet. No 29 has side
entrance to south-east and blank windows to that side. Stacks
to party walls. Cast-iron railings to area.
