GV II

Village house. Probably C18, front remodelled early/mid C19.
Stucco with quoin strips, on rubble; steep asbestos slate roof
with modillion eaves cornice; late C19 crested clay ridge
tiles; brick end stacks over party walls. L-shaped plan
including deep rear wing at right-angles on right. 2 storeys;
slightly asymmetrical 3-window front. Early/mid C19
twelve-pane hornless sashes to 1st floor fronted by latticed
wooden balcony with dentilled cornice. Large canted bays with
hornless sashes with glazing bars flank pilastered doorway
with original door with 6 fielded panels and diamond-patterned
overlight. INTERIOR not inspected.
