Corner shop with accommodation, now 2 shops. Late C19. Stucco
on rubble with 1st-floor impost string rising over recessed
round arches and mid-floor string above; rag slate roof hipped
on the corner; brick end stacks. Double-depth corner site plan
with splayed corner. 3 storeys; 5-window range to main street,
3-window range to right-hand return. Segmental arches to 2nd
floor and ground floor far right, all with probably original
4-pane horned sashes. Large original corner shop with original
slender turned mullions, some 2-pane horned sashes and moulded
entablature with fascia; doorway towards left of main shop
frontage and on right of return; house doorway right of this
with 3-pane overlight and original door with 2 tall
round-arched panels. Later double shop front to left of
original shop. INTERIOR of original shop has many old or
original fittings, otherwise not inspected. Included for group
value.
