3 houses, now shop and store. Late C18, partly refenestrated
mid C19, altered mid C20. Brick, the Carter Gate front
colourwashed, with stone dressings. Roof not visible. Ramped
coped parapet. 3 storeys; 4x4 windows. Carter Gate front has
band below parapet. 4 segment headed plain sashes and above, 4
smaller sashes. Mid C20 shopfront with square piers at the
corner and a recessed corner window. Bridge Street front has
first and second floor bands. 4 glazing bar sashes, the left
one blank, and above, 4 similar sashes, all with keystone
lintels. Shopfront with recessed glazed door and single window
under continuous fascia.
