church

GV II

2 chest tombs on a common base. Early C19. 5m S of W end of S
aisle of church. Inscription weathered. S tomb, S face reads
Henry Archer 1822, Portland stone chest on plinth, clasping
corner buttresses, each of 4 clustered shafts, shaped lid, E
and W end faces have niches with draped fluted urns. N tomb
similar but with single urn on E end, oolitic stone,
inscriptions weathered but S face reads Martin Catlin 1815.
