GV II

House, now offices. Late C18, with early C19 wings. Brick with
stone dressings, hipped slate and pantile roofs. Plinth, first
floor band, moulded eaves cornice and low parapet, 4 side wall
stacks. 3 storey main block, 3 windows, with the central bay
projecting under a pediment. 2 storey wings, single windows,
those to right wing with segmental heads. Central steps to
Classical doorcase with open pediment on scroll brackets,
fielded 6-panel door and Gothic fanlight. Each wing has a
blocked segment headed doorway. Rear wing has a canted 2
storey bay window. Interior has dogleg stair with landings,
stick balusters and ramped scrolled handrail. Late C18 hob
grate and 5 fielded panelled doors.
