House, now shops and dwellings. Late C18/early C19. Render;
slate roof with central gable; central brick ridge stack;
massive stone stack to rear. 3 storeys, attic and cellar;
4-window range: 6/6 sashes with some old glass, in moulded
cases, to 1st and 2nd floors; moulded band and pilasters;
modillioned wood eaves; pedimented gable with 2: 6: 2: light
with ogee head and moulded architrave. Late C19 shopfronts,
with recessed part-glazed panelled doors to left, and
plate-glass windows with ringed glazing shafts; half-glazed
panelled door and plain fanlight in moulded case, to left; all
under ornate frieze, fascia-board and hood with scrolled
consoles.
