House, now 2 houses. Mid C18 with C19 and C20 alterations.
Ground floor incised render, first floor rough render, No.46
painted. Left return rubble with brick patching and triangular
block gable edges. Painted ashlar dressings. Roof pantiles
with brick chimneys.
2 storeys, 3 windows. Renewed paired central doors and plain
overlights, No.46 overlight boarded, in plain stone surrounds.
No.46 has to left wide C20 shop window, and No.47 has to right
late C20 top-hung casement window with flat stone lintel and
projecting stone sill. First-floor windows, the central over
the door of No.46, on sill band. 2 left windows are C18 sashes
with glazing bars. Right window C20 casement. Steeply pitched
roof has swept eaves, small flat-topped dormer at right end,
truncated left end chimney and corniced chimney on plinth at
right end of house. Roof abuts slope of adjacent building.
