House, formerly farmhouse. Early C18. Timber-framed and brick,
rendered and colourwashed. Pantiled roof, black glazed to
front. Formerly lobby-entrance plan, altered C19. Two storeys
in 4 bays. C20 gabled porch left of centre. One 3-light C19
casement left of porch, one similar and a 2-light version
right of porch. Four 2-light C19 casements to first floor.
Coved eaves with timber brackets below gabled roof. Square
stack left of centre over porch with 4 panelled flues. 2
storey C19 gabled addition to rear, with C20 casements. Stack
on rear roof slope. INTERIOR. Chamfered bridging beams to
ground floor. Inserted staircase through space formerly
occupied by stack. Roof of principals and taper-tenoned butt
purlins. One windbrace survives each side. Boarded at collar
level.
