GV II

Pair of shops. Late C16 timber frame with early C19 brick skin
and mid C19 double-fronted plate-glass shop front to right. 2
storeys. Pantiled roof, black glazed to front. Shop front with
prominent stop brackets to fascia board. Entrance to chambers
incorporated to left of display window. One tripartite sash to
left of this and 2 similar to first floor. Gabled roof with an
internal gable-end stack to east.
INTERIOR. Cruciform chamfered bridging beams with tongue stops
to ground floor. Jowled principal studs to first floor and
cruciform chamfered bridging beams. Several late C17 two-panel
doors with HL hinges. Clasped purlin roof with curved
windbraces.
