Includes: The Cottage BREWERY LANE.
House, the front now offices, rear wing domestic. C17
timber-frame with whitewashed brick skin. Pantile roofs. 2
storeys. Facade reconstructed 1778 and later altered. Glazed
panelled door right of centre in plain timber doorcase. 2 late
C19 horned sashes either side, each with one glazing bar.
First floor formerly jettied, now rendered and whitewashed and
fitted with false timber studs. 4 evenly-spaced late C19
horned sashes. Gabled roof. Partial-external gable-end stack
to east. Large 2-storeyed cross wing to rear under separate
address of The Cottage, Brewery Lane. Timber-framed with
whitewashed brick skin and gabled roof. West side with a
panelled door under a hood and two 3-light late C18 casements.
Other windows C20. INTERIOR. Chamfered bridging beam to rear
wing with tongue stops. Roof and front wing not inspected.
