Farmhouse. Early C19. Incised stucco walls on chamfered plinth
with angle pilasters and eaves cornice. Welsh slate roof; end
stucco chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays with 2-bay left
return in rough L-shape. Central panelled door partly-glazed
in painted stone surround under cornice. Sash windows with
glazing bars in painted stone architraves. Left return has
full-height canted bay window and sash windows. Rear outshut
and lean-to. INTERIOR not inspected. Formed part of the
Knowefield estate of Sir William Watt of the firm of Little
and Ballantyne.
