House. Mid-C19, later C19, C20. Brick, front and half side have flint pebble facing with red brick dressings, slate roof with central and S end gable stacks. Plan rectangular, original block and later C19 added block in double pile form with C20 single-storey additions at N and S ends. EXTERIOR: 2 storey. Front W elevation. Facing of pitched pebbles framed by brick quoins and mid-height string course. 3 window range, all segment headed with horned sashes with glazing bars, 4x4 panes. Central front doorway, pillared porch with flat hood, simple details, C20 door has upper glazing with glazing bars, 5x3 panes and lower flush panels of vertical boards. C20 red brick addition to N has slate roof and casement window with glazing bars, 2x3 panes. C20 addition to S built to match original frontage, slate roofed with coursed pebbles and red brick dressings, also segment headed sash window with glazing bars, 4x4 panes. Rear, E elevation, principal additional range of late C19 in red brick, central stack. C20 NE addition taken round N and E sides. C20 S addition set back. Principal range, ground floor half obscured by NE addition. To S, 3 similar C20 casement windows with glazing bars, 3x3 panes. First floor, two C19 segment headed, horned sash windows with glazing bars, 4x4 panes. NE addition, boarded stable door with upper light, one 2-light and one single light casement window with glazing bars, 4x3 and 2x3 panes. S end elevation, 2 plain, barge-boarded gable ends of C19 builds with straight joint between, ground floor considerably obscured by C20 addition. W block has pitched pebbles as front and central red brick stack. First-floor segment headed window to rear of stack, truncated and partially blocked for roof of C20 addition - now has narrow C20 2-light casement. Late C19 block in red brick has first-floor segment headed window with glazing bars, 4x4 panes. Gable end of C20 addition with pebble facing, red brick dressing and barge-board to match earlier phases has projecting central flat-roofed bay window of 5 plain casement lights. N end elevation, two C19 blocks distinct, older to W, with pitched pebbles and mid-height string course, later to E in red brick, simple barge-boards. Marked straight joint between builds. Ground floor, E block, C20 2-light casement window with glazing bars, 4x3 panes. First floor, W block, simple C20 small top-opening casement window. C20 NE addition, gable end with barge-boards and wall faced with pebble courses and red brick quoins. INTERIOR plain.
