GV II

House, divided into 2 cottages. Late C16. 2 storeys and attics; 3-cell form.
Timber-framed and rendered; black glazed pantiles; an internal chimney-stack
with a plain red brick shaft. Various old 2-light and 3-light casement
windows, some small-paned, with pintle hinges. Plank door to No.2, probably
in the original cross entry position. Apart from the main beams on both
floors, and wallplates, all timbers are covered. The upper ceilings are
original. Good roof, with full principals, cut away for the insertion of
clasped purlins, and arched windbraces, some removed.
