The house comprises a C17 or C18 red brick wing extending to the east
with an early Cl9 block at the west end of Suffolk gault brick. 2 storeys.
The east wing has 3 window range and the west block has 5 window range
on the west front and 1 window range on the ends, double-hung sashes with
glazing bars. The windows on the upper storey of the east wing are leaded
casements and 4 of the windows on the west front are blocked behind the
original windows. A Doric portico projects on the centre of the west
front, with fluted columns frieze and cornice. The roof to the east block
is tiled, with a central chimney stack with attached shafts and the roof
of the west block is of slate, hipped, with a wide overhanging eaves soffit
with brackets in groups of three.
