Circa 1790 (Deeds). 3 storey and attic ashlar fronted pair divided into horizontal
compartments by side piers, cill bands and cornice frieze to blocking course.
Double roman tile mansard roof with 3 raking top dormers. 3 ranges of windows,
glazing bar sashes, paired on 2nd floor at sides (above which the dormers are wider).
Simplified Venetian window to 1st floor at sides and plain round headed window
in centre. 2 pedimented doorcases on Doric pilasters flanking an arched throughpassage.
Paired windows on ground floor.
Nos 2 to 4 (consec), No 5 (Rodney House) with stable yard and garden railings,
stable buildings and walls, Nos 8 to 13 (consec) No 25 (Lovemead House), garden
wall and gate piers form a group with Polebarn House and boundary wall, gatepiers
and gates and, Polebarn Road, and Nos 1 to 6 (consec) Yerbury Almshouses, Yerbury
Street.
