A timber-framed and plastered house, possibly of C16-C17 origin but much
altered. The ground storey is faced in modern brick and the upper storey
was probably formerly jettied. Now it is divided into 4 tenements. 2
storeys. 4 window range, Nos 72 to 76 have horizontal sliding sashes
with glazing bars and No 78 has C20 casements. There are 4 boarded doors.
The west gable is weatherboarded. Roofs tiled.
