Chest tomb with inscriptions to Elizabeth Townsend, 1802, and to Thomas
Townsend. Limestone ashlar. Moulded base and cornice lid, recessed corners with
square fluted pilasters. South inscription panel has delicate foliage carved in
shallow relief; north panel is oval, with shallow carvings of cherub heads and
scrolls in spandrels.
