Pair of houses, now offices. Mid C19. Coursed squared stone
with ashlar dressings. Low pitched hipped slate roof. Each
house of 2 storeys and attic, 2 extended bays wide, with entrance
to centre of block under conjoined bracketed hood. Stair hall
and rear wing. Ground floor 2-light ashlar bay windows with
cornice containing 2-pane sashes, the centre light wider. Plat
band. Lugged architraves to 2-pane sashes to first floor, the
sashes paired over the bay window. Gable to rear attic. The
most complete remaining pair of houses in a street formerly lined
by similar properties.
