House. Late C17/early C18. Part one-and-a-half storeys; part single-storey.
2-cell lobby-entrance plan with later extension. Timber-framed and rendered;
thatched roof, hipped over single-storey extension on north, gabled on south.
2 small casement windows with external plank shutters to ground storey; one 2-
light casement window above. Plank door, slightly recessed. Plain frame, in
5 bays, fully exposed inside: single-height studs bisected by primary braces;
joists set on edge; no tie-beams to intermediate trusses. The roof is
substantial: 5 bays, ceiled-off at collar level; principal rafters set on
edge, one row of slightly-stepped butt purlins, common rafters set flat.
