Early-mid C18, No 47 remodelled probably from circa 1600 or earlier premises.
Partly timber framed but rendered. Tiled roof with wooden eaves cornice.
End chimneys. East gable timber-framed and tile hung. No 47 has 1 range
of 3-light casements, No 49 2 ranges of casements, 2-light on 1st floor, 3
light on ground floor. No 47 has plain ledged door to left, No 49 a 6-panel
door to left with modern bracketted hood. No 47 has a partly panelled (mid
C19 matchboard) front ground floor room and curved chimneypiece. It formerly
was gable end to the road and its queen post and windbrace roof is now incorporated
in the remodelled roof.
