3/358 Ridge Side Farmhouse
GV II

Farmhouse, C17 origins, remodelled in C18, squared rubble with
stone-tiled hipped mansard roof, east end stack and ridge stack.
Two storeys and attic, 4-window range with flush quoins. Two
dormers. Plank door in bolection-moulded surround with cornice and
16-pane sash above. Elsewhere small tripartite windows in flush
moulded surrounds with fixed side lights and 12-pane centre sashes,
dripstones to ground floor windows. Two-window range to left of
door, one-window range to right. Rear has 2 dormers, one-window
range of similar tripartite windows each side of door with hood on
brackets, and lean-to to right obscuring C17 three-light recessed
ovolo-moulded window.
