Farmhouse and attached cottage. House dated '1670 HT', cottage late C18-early
C19. Coursed stone, stone slate roof. House: baffle-entry plan. 2 storeys, 3
liit-floor windows. Double-chamfered mullion windows throughout. Door to right,
now window, with chamfered quoined surround and dated lintel. To its left a 2-
light and a 3-light window, then a C20 door in plain stone surround with inter-
rupted jambs, and to far left a 6-light window partly obscured by C20 addition.
Above, two 5-light windows and a2-light five window (mullion removed). Stacks
to right gable and centre of ridge. Cottage on right: 2 storeys and basement,
taller than house; one lst-floor window. Quoins. Plain-stone surround doorway
to basement. One 3-light flat-faced mullion window with raised cill to ground
and 1st floors. Moulded kneelers, coping; end stack right. Rear: house has
blocked doorway to right and double-chamfered mullion windows, on ground floor of
3 lights (mullions removed), 2 lights, and 3 lights and, above, 2 of 3 lights
(mullions gone).
