House, formerly subdivided. C17, early C18 and early C19. Part-coursed limestone
rubble with some ashlar dressings; concrete plain-tile and Welsh-slate roofs
with stone stacks. Single unit extended by 2 units plus a further range. 2
storeys. Symmetrical 2-window front of C19 range, with ashlar quoins and flat
arches with projecting keyblocks, has 16-pane sashes plus a central door with
overlight; shallow-pitched slate roof has gable stacks. C18 range returning from
right has a steep tiled roof with a central stack, and has irregular casements
plus a 6-panel door. Rear unit, with a chimney gable to right and a hip to left
has enlarged casements. Interior: rear unit has a spiral cellar stair and traces
of upper flights adjoining a large chimneybreast; C18 range has a stop-chamfered
spine beam and a fine fireplace with moulded and carved mantel.
