Row of 3 cottages. Dated 1782 at 1st floor; altered. Brown and
yellow brick in Flemish bond (yellow headers), slate roof.
Double-depth plan, each cottage single-fronted. Two storeys
over basements, 1+1+1 windows; doorways up 5 steps (to the
right at No.46, to the left at Nos 48 and 50), all with
altered doors; low 3-light basement windows; square ground
floor windows with flat-arched heads and keystones, oblong
windows at 1st floor, and all these windows now with variously
altered glazing (no glazing bars at No.46, small-paned glazing
at Nos 48 and 50). Ogee-headed niche over doorway of No.48
containing datestone with raised ornament including central
shell or fan, and lettering:

Two ridge chimney stacks (double at junction of Nos 46 and
48), both with water-tabling. Rear: altered openings. Interior
not inspected.
