House, now restaurant. Early or mid C19. Solid rendered front.
Slated roof with red ridge-tiles. Old red-brick chimney on
right side-wall, level with front roof-slope, the upper
courses projecting to form a cap. Single-fronted, probably
double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 1-window range. Doorway to left
of ground storey has 6-panelled door, the 2 lowest panels
flush; plain architrave, the lintel projecting beyond the
edges of the jambs; lions-head knocker. Ground-storey window
has a single sheet of glass in an old wooden frame; at the top
of the frame, on each side, is a large iron hook, probably for
a shutter. Upper-storey windows have 8-paned sashes in
recessed box-frames. INTERIOR not inspected.
